Company Accountant
The Carvetii Group of companies is a busy and growing Property Investment and Serviced Accommodation business based in the UK (England and Scotland). We have 24 properties in operation at the Upgrade to see actual infont with another 4 going live before Easter 2022 and another 7 currently undergoing refurbishment. We seek a full time experienced and dedicated accountant to work across six limited companies and two limited liability partnerships.

We already have two full time general admin assistants based in the Philippines we now seek to add a full-time company accountant to the team.


Knowledge & Experience required:
British Accountancy skills are required. We are operating in the UK so American (USA) accountancy rules do not apply here.
Experience of using FreeAgent ™
Any prior experience of the UK tourism industry (Working with AirBnB and Upgrade to see actual info would be an advantage)
Extensive MS Excel skills.
MS Word and PowerPoint skills for creating business procedure documentation and reports.

Personal Skills and approach:
Fluent in speaking, reading and writing English, and in a formal context for emails.
Dedication to meet project deadlines in a timely manner
We may need to verbally describe ideas, options or challenges to you for some tasks, so you must have good communication skills in English and be OK with some ambiguity at the beginning of some projects.
We will look to you to identify appropriate solutions to challenges and point out opportunities for improvement so a proactive approach will be Upgrade to see actual infoanisation and maintenance of file systems (we use a combination of One Drive and DropBox)
Organisation and maintenance of excel documents, data entry, management reports, cost accounting, etc.

Tasks and role
General Accountancy, maintenance of FreeAgent Accounts. Correct allocation of income and costs to the appropriate accounting categorise etc.
Further systemise our complete operations, write procedures for other staff to follow; monitor adherence to those procedures and clarify/edit/update and correct where Upgrade to see actual infotailed analytics to identify profitability and where costs need to be addressed to improve performance of the business.
Monitor prices across channels and adapt as appropriate.
Monitor competition prices and develop future pricing plans that will maximise the profitability of each Upgrade to see actual infomunication:
