Full Stack/ Front End Developer (Vue.js Developer)

Our Ideal Candidate

You are a well-experienced front-end developer with expertise on Javascript frameworks and libraries. You are great at writing code that’s stable, secure, modular, and easy to maintain. To be successful in the role, you put high emphasis on teamwork, open communication, time management, and quality of output. This role is on-track to be a Fullstack Developer hence, proficiency in back-end languages i.e. Java, PHP, Laravel, or C# would be ideal.

Expected Work Hours and Timezone

This is a full-time, permanent work-from-home opportunity. You are expected to work 40 hours per week, 8 hours a day, with atlest 60% of overlap following Eastern Time Zone. However, you might be required to work and follow certain shifts and work on occasional weekends to accommodate business urgent matters.

As a Front-end Developer, you will provide excellence by:

Developing user-facing web applications and components using Vue.js
Building modular and reusable components and libraries
Optimizing applications for performance
Implementing automated testing integrated into development and maintenance workflows
Keeping up-to-date with all recent advances in the JavaScript and Vue.js space
Diagnosing and conducting bug fixes and other software defects in new and existing Vue applications
Running code optimization tools and analyzers to spot and refactor inefficiencies
Proposing any necessary updates or modifications to keep current with modern security and development best practices
In the long-term, the role would also be involved in the development of server-side applications (backend) as it transitions to a Fullstack Developer.

Do you have what it takes to be our Front-end Developer?

Consider yourself highly qualified if you have:
At least 3 years of experience in the field preferably in a startup environment
Highly proficient with Vue.js framework and its core principles such as components, reactivity, and the virtual DOM
Good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3
Understanding of server-side rendering and its benefits and use cases
Knowledge of functional programming and object-oriented programming paradigms
Ability to write efficient, secure, well-documented, and clean JavaScript code
Working knowledge on backend development with demonstrated proficiency in either Java, PHP, Laravel, Python, Ruby, or C#.
