Project Manager - Higher Education

We are looking for someone to join our International Team as a Project Manager. This is a full-time, 40 hours a week role based in the Philippines and can be performed from a home office. Reliable internet connection, strong English proficiency (written and verbal), and experience in client liaison and project management/coordination are vital for performing this role.
As a successful applicant for this role, you will be involved in managing business process improvement projects, change/organisational management reviews, compliance implementation and system implementation projects working with many of Australia's Universities and Higher Education Institutions. The aim is to deliver positive and sustainable change in an evolving Education sector – one project at a time!
You will have 3-8 years’ experience managing projects and working closely across project activities, and have demonstrated excellent skills in organising these activities, ideally working within the Education sector.
You will be essential in ensuring the successful delivery of our clients' project requirements, on time and within budget, as well as ensuring all project administration is organised effectively. You will be coordinating and undertaking project activities as well as coordinating contractors to deliver outcomes.
You must be willing to learn, have a great attitude and be an active member of our team. You will have an outcomes-focused work-style and be able to work closely with other tea
As part of this role, you will be a participant in team training activities, attend our DVE Team Days for personal growth, and give input to the ongoing growth and development of the business. You will report directly to the Delivery Manager.

Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience of managing projects and working closely with key stakeholders, clients and internal team
- proven leadership experience

Other Requirements:
- A modern computer with minimum specs: i5 processor or equivalent, 8GB RAM, 250GB HD
- DSL or Cable internet as your main internet connection (stable) with internet speed of at least 10Mbps
- A backup 4G/LTE internet connection (could be a Wi-Fi dongle or pocket Wi-Fi)
- Conducive work environment and home office setup
- Chrome browser, Adobe Acrobat reader
- Genuine Windows OS installation (preferred)
- UPS/backup generator (preferred)
Regular weekly activities including but not limited to:
- Regular communication and close work with all stakeholders in relation to projects and project activities.
- Monitoring project scope and budgets ensuring ongoing costs are in line with proposals
- Ensuring project activities are completed and milestones and deliverables are met
- Coordinating tea
- Regular project activities such as undertaking interviews, running workshops, writing reports, peer reviewing work, providing expert advice on recommendations.
- Effectively reporting to management on progress and issues with communication and drive to effective resolution
- Provision of status updates for client governance committees
- Utilsation of online Project Management tool to setup and track project for activity progression and effective reporting
- Administration and documentation of project activities and progress
- Identification of opportunities for new business and close work with the Business Development team to engage client
- Delegating tasks appropriately to project tea
- Input to project proposals and tenders
