JOB OVERVIEW

About us:

We are a rapidly growing, innovative ecommerce company that has been selling goods on various ecommerce platforms for over 3 years. So far, each year we have doubled our revenue and are not planning on slowing down. Currently, we oversee 3 private label ecommerce brands. We are looking to expanding our team with this new and exciting position that will report directly to the CEO

Looking for:

A highly motivated individual with previous operations management experience preferably in ecommerce setting. Perfect candidate is a self-starter with an ownership mentality that enjoys keeping information and data organized and standardized. Ideal candidate will have a work hard play hard mentality that is looking to grow their career to the next level within a rapidly expanding company.

Responsibilities:

Supply chain management --

• Monitoring inventory levels and providing suggestions on product reordering quantity and timeframe. Forecasting inventory
• Drafting, sending to suppliers and checking contracts for new and old products
• Keeping track of suppliers completing all of their contract obligations (mostly making sure the goods are completed on time as described in the order contracts)
• Filling out inspection requirements files; scheduling product inspections; checking the product inspection reports
• Managing product shipments by getting shipping quotes and booking freight forwarding services with logistics companies.
• Keeping track of current product orders on the order tracking excel spreadsheet

Supplier Communication –

• Providing any information/support the suppliers may need in regard to the products, shipping and production
• Requesting product quotes for new and old products
• Requesting and managing product samples
• Relaying new product information provided by the management
• Sending requests for quotations for new products on Bboazzf.acl
• Become a link between management and supply chain by reporting

Working in Amazon’s Seller Central –

• Creating shipping plans
• Amazon listing upkeep
• Inventory reconciliation
• Amazon listing creation
• Creating fulfillment orders for products sold through other channels besides Amazon Monitoring listing health
• Any other upkeep duties as needed

Customer Service across all channels –

• Answering customer messages on Amazon and brand websites
• Replying to reviews on Amazon.
• Handling any customer issues

Product Research and Development –

• Find new lucrative product ideas on Amazon that align well across company’s brands
• Come up with insights on new product differentiation by reading through competition customer reviews on Amazon
• Aid in new product creation if necessary
• Manage new product launches via Facebook and launch services

Qualifications:

• Genuine enjoyment of managing and improving day to day business operations
• Genuine enjoyment of keeping information organized and processes lean
• Ownership mentality
• Bachelor’s (Master’s preferred) degree in business management or finance
• 3-5 years of experience in operations management in ecommerce
• Developed critical thinking skills with ability to independently identify issues and bring solutions to the table
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Curiosity for learning new skills and processes

• Remote
• Full time on weekdays
• Few hours on weekends for customer service duties

Pay:

• Salary depending on skill level
