Job Description

Shift Accounting is an accounting firm focusing on the dental and medical industry in Canada.

We don’t just help clients keep track of their finances and balance their books. We embrace technology and create solutions that help them become more efficient, identify opportunities for change, and grow their businesses.

We are currently looking for an Accountant to join our fantastic offshore team.

While we appreciate technical skills, we know that someone with a dynamic personality and a love of learning can pick them. What we want is the right attitude!

Interested? Let’s talk a little bit about Upgrade to see actual info would be best if you had the following:

- CPA or CPA candidate

- 3-4 years of public practice experience (US, Australia, UK or Canada) - is a must

- Experience in converting files from one system to another (system migration experience) - nice to have

- Experience in account reconciliation - 80% of the job is the reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts. Attention to detail is a must

- Experience in month-in-process and month-end journal entries

- Attention to detail and can handle a large volume of transactions

- Advanced computer skills

- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

- Ability to multitask and prioritize

- Self-drive and ability to work under minimum supervision

- Experience in Xero

- Experience in training other teaUpgrade to see actual infombers and handling inquiries
