With ground-breaking technology that simplifies gift cards for consumers and businesses, we are bringing together an amazing team of engineers to further develop and support our B2C gift card product, Special.

About the opportunity

We are searching for our first Technical Business Analyst to perform detailed requirements analysis, documentation and UAT. This is a crucial role to provide the vital link between Product and Technology to ultimately enable our new products and features.

To excel in this role, you will bring a natural flair for analytical thinking and a knack for explaining difficult concepts to non-technical users. You have a collaborative mindset, and excellent problem-solving skills. Your communication skills are exceptional and you enjoy sharing where you are up to, and what lies ahead openly and transparently, contributing to a high performing culture.

What you will lead

- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions
- Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies
- Staying up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems
- Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
- Performing requirements analysis
- Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts
- Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional teaUpgrade to see actual infombers and management
- Gathering critical information froUpgrade to see actual infoetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports
- Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial teaUpgrade to see actual infombers
- Reporting on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to product team
- Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer
- Providing technical leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to other teaUpgrade to see actual infombers
- Performing user acceptance testing
- Coordinating projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance

What you can demonstrate

- Experience in eliciting requirements and testing
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions

- Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations

- Strong organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques

Your technical expertise

- Experience in analysing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
- Ability to generate business and process documentation with demonstrated technical writing skills
- Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with the Agile/Scrum tools framework
- Previous experience with Confluence, Jira or other similar tools is a must
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Your qualifications

- A bachelor’s degree in business or related field or an MBA.
- Demonstrated experience in business analysis or a related field.
- Proven experience working in a fast moving, fast paced fintech start up
