Key Responsibilities:
• Manage e-commerce platform (Shopify back end) on a day-to-day basis
• Make front-end updates including, Homepage tile updates, creation of new category pages, merchandising updates, etc.
• Responsible for the accuracy of inventory on all sales channels including Shopify and dropship channels (Mirakyl, CommerceHub, HingeTo, etc.)
• Coordinate with our overseas product listers for Poshmark, Amazon
• Responsible for smooth and enjoyable UX experience from landing page to check-out
• Launching product as well as overseeing new product postings
• Product info updating – Promotional pricing, inventories, info corrections, latency, etc.
• Product listing QC and maintaining listing quality to ensure consistency across multiple sales channels
• Optimize existing content and identify new opportunities. Work closely with Digital Marketing to advise in the development of content for the execution of growth strategy.
• Manage and optimize the presentation of products and content on the website
• Stay current with the latest e-commerce trends and technology through industry research
• Manage a collection launch per month (6 launches per year)
• Request copy requests from copywriter for product descriptions and homepage tiles
• Organize sales and markdown in the back end
• Website maintenance: merchandising collections for a refresh, removing items that are out of stock on the website, updating ribbon copy, updating drop down images as they sell out on navigation
• Merchandise new styles according to color/print or style depending on collection/category
• Move all new collection items up by category on the navigation
• Move editorial images to the front to be the primary image on PDPs
• Create “featured” collection pages for smaller features to link banners and
• Ensure all items are properly tagged to filter into the correct collection
Other Duties
- Will assist in uploading new products to e-commerce channels (Amazon, Shopify, etc.) and updating daily inventory through Bulk Upload Templates in CSV, XLS and TXT file formats.
- Adding/changing product details to all product listings.
- Management of product images.
- Official website’s frontend/backend
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Excel functions and formulas (
- Has good knowledge about seller backend portals of e-commerce channels and shipping solutions (ex: Shipstation) and how to utilize them.
- Basic web development skills (HTML/CSS).
- Basic computer software and hardware troubleshooting skills (software installation, PC desktop assembly, and network setup).
- Photo-editing skills (Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Eagerness to learn, listens to instructions, and performs duties accordingly and in a consistent manner.
- Eye for detail.
- Organized, punctual, and responsible.
- Problem-solving skills.
Schedule:
• 8-hour shift (Monday to Friday) PST
Experience:
Shopify: 1 year (Preferred)
