Paralegal Personal Injury / Workers Compensation

We are seeking an experienced paralegal for our growing team. Ideal candidates will have at least two years relevant experience in Workers Compensation/Personal Injury, including litigation, medical records, discovery, scheduling, client contact, and trial preparation.
To be successful in this position, candidates should enjoy working independently, be highly motivated, confident in their abilities, and enjoy working in a high-volume and fast paced law practice.
Responsibilities:
• Communicating with clients (phone, email, text, etc.)
• Preparing correspondence
• Ordering and organizing medical records & bills
• Screening inquiries from potential new clients
• Managing attorneys’ calendars and court dates
• Communicating with attorneys, paralegals, and the court
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience in personal injury/workers compensation law preferred
• Degree/certification (JD, Paralegal Studies) preferred but not required
• Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and organizational skills
• Self-motivated and proactive in organizing work and anticipating issues in advance
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Exceptional writing skills and attention to detail
• Strong work ethic with very high standards for both quality and quantity of work
• Experience with case management software preferred
