We are a community of online entrepreneurs recruiting Creative Director & Lead to join us. We specialize in physical product brands currently operating 8 brands in the following markets: dietary supplements, tea, natural skincare, cosmetics, bulk health foods, spices, and sweeteners.

We are significantly increasing the scale of our creative agency to support our different health and wellness product brands as we are currently in the process of refreshing several of them for off-Amazon marketing, scaling all of them, and creating several more brands.

We are planning to recruit several creative teaUpgrade to see actual infombers and to operate as a very harmonious, inspiring, and most of all incredibly supportive team to replace our history of using various freelancers and agencies. We have in front of us just about every type of copy ahead of us that you can think an e-commerce business would need. We have about 8 brands currently and are working on a few more as we speak, all at different stages and tapping various markets. So, projects will range from creating a brand identity and strategy from scratch to refreshing existing brands, bringing brands to all major social media platforms, and all forms of content for various e-commerce platforms. We will need copy for emails, blogs of all types, print media for shipping inserts, videos of different types for socials, ads, landing pages, Amazon, Shopify, bot flows, etc.

We are essentially building an internal agency that can service any and every need a global, e-commerce-focused brand could possibly benefit Upgrade to see actual info fact, we will need some technical writers as we overhaul and clean up our operations SOPs.

UPDATE (since the videos): Our Creative Team will be composed of a few Creative Directors specialized in various content forms and functions as well as one Creative Lead meant to mentor all of our Creatives and to tie the whole team together. Our Directors will be specialists while our Lead must be a very well experienced and gifted generalist. When you apply, please note if you are applying to be a Director or the Lead. If Director, please be very specific about where you see yourself specializing in.

Right now, we are looking for a highly-motivated & proactive individual who is/has:
Must have at least 3 years of experience in advertising, marketing, or in a similar creative role and with a strong background in leading creative projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience supervising copywriters and graphic designers
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and can work well under pressure
Exceptional planning, organizational, and time management skills
Strong copy editing and visual proofing skills with attention to small details in both copy and designs
Extensive experience in developing creatives, in marketing processes, in designing and developing brand campaigns
Excellent eye for copywriting and graphic design
Familiarity with online project management and communication platforms such as Asana, Slack, Loom, etc


How you will create Value:
Lead and manage a creative team of professionals which includes copywriters and graphic designers
Oversee the creation and execution of all projects developed by the creative team in terms of copy and design, and also responsible for the overall quality of outputs
Serve as the point person for all branding creative directions from the CEO, disseminate and delegate tasks as may be required
Act as the task manager for the team, assign and supervise daily workload and ensure timely completion and quality of all the projects
Report to the CEO all creative strategies, proposals, output, and updates produced by the creative team
Improves quality results by reviewing, evaluating, re-designing, and recommending changes to copywriting and designs
Develop, define and implement copy and design strategies
Collaborate with the marketing team in developing marketing strategies and engaging social content
Head brand campaigns, including submitting ideas for projects and overseeing the development of all creative content
Train the creative team and inspire them to use their creative talents efficiently
Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training of creative team
Lead the creation of assets for all things eCommerce: brand building, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Youtube, TikTok, landing pages, print media, email marketing, sms & messenger bot flows, advertising, product pages, Amazon listings, product brands, public relation, branding (CEO’s personal brand and our team brand), packaging design, & more!
Work closely with the social media team
Some projects will have detailed requests from CEO or other teams, some projects will be fully autonomous within the creative team
Maintain organization within GDrive of all assets

Starting salary should be expected to be in the range of $750 - $1200 depending on experience and skill. When answering your questions, break down creative projects as detailed as you can. For example, just saying social media is too broad. Even just saying Instagram is too broad. Within the realm of Insta, there’s grid design, grid posts, story posts, story curation, reels, short-form videos, long-form videos, etc. The more you can communicate the various, detailed tasking and projects for e-commerce, the more we will be able to comprehend your big picture understanding of e-commerce creatives in general which will also help us in our recruiting process.

While we are asking you to be detailed, please also be concise.
