JOB OVERVIEW

This is a fantastic opportunity for a results-driven and hands-on individual to join our team at Evolve Communities. This is a remote position. You’ll report directly to our Marketing Manager and will be responsible for creating high-quality social media content, editing videos, writing posts, and developing design collateral for our website and social channels, acting as a social media community manager, and executing our social media strategy.

You will establish a collaborative working relationship with our Marketing Manager and company directors who will work with you on strategic and big picture goals.

Your job will be to take our strategic guidance and make it a reality. The ability to organize, plan and structure your workload in an autonomous fashion will be absolutely key to your success in this role. We neither have the time nor the inclination to micromanage you. You’ll have a lot of freedom in this role but also a lot of responsibility and we would love to see you bring something new to the table.

You’re someone who has previous experience developing content for LinkedIn and managing all community interactions via comments and direct messages. You can easily edit a video and have previous experience in graphic design and web content management. If you don’t already have knowledge of our main platforms (Ontraport, Google Analytics, Canva, Premiere Rush, WordPress, Asana) then you’re happy to jump in and learn!

The non-negotiables of this role:

*Social Media Experience: You can execute a social media strategy including designing content, scheduling content, engaging with followers and tracking metrics. You have previous experience managing LinkedIn profiles. Previous experience with Instagram and TikTok will be highly regarded.

*Graphic Design Skills. You have a sense of design and commitment to representing our brand and look. We often will have the details of what we need created, with examples and templates, and will ask that you can create graphics that do not feel like stock imagery. Previous experience using Canva will be highly regarded.

*Impeccable English skills. You can write excellent content, respond to incoming messages and create perfect video captions.

*Video Editing. You will need to be skilled in creating high-quality videos and using footage, sound, and graphics to tell a story. You will have experience with video editing tools and design tools.

*Being tech-savvy. We’re looking for someone who can quickly learn how to use new tools and technologies. While we don’t expect you to know all of the tools we use, we do expect you to be comfortable picking up the concepts. Your daily tools of the trade will be Adobe Premier Rush, Clipscribe, Canva, Loomly, Ontraport, Asana, and Google Workspace.

*Being a self-starter. Goals will be clearly defined from the outset. Often, it will be your job to determine what needs to happen, when, and how. The attitude of continually starting things on your own is very important. You’re meticulous with detail and have a great hold with project management.

*Reliable. You have good time management skills and deliver tasks on time. Daily, weekly and monthly tasks will be clearly defined but it will be your responsibility to manage your time effectively to complete your tasks. A can-do attitude is a quality we are looking for in this role.



Job responsibilities:

*Creating design collateral (images, infographics, photo editing, and graphics for social media, website design, blog posts, and product collateral)

*Video editing and captions. Most of our video content is people-centric in the form of training, interviews, and podcasts. All of our videos are published on social media with captions.

*Content Writing and community engagement. You will follow our strategy and apply templates to create engaging content and respond appropriately to comments, DMs, and emails.

*Research: identifying potential marketing/PR opportunities (events, conferences, publications, awards, connections)

*Analytics and reporting. You will update our monthly marketing report with information sourced from our Social Media accounts and Google Analytics.

*Website management. Publishing content and making updates in WordPress.

*Webinar/mailing list management.


Job requirements:

*Available to work 40 hours per week with at least 5 hours daily crossover between 11am and 4pm AEST Monday to Upgrade to see actual info moonlighting.

*Must have daily access to high-speed internet, a smartphone, and a computer/laptop.

*Strong grasp of Canva and Premier Rush (or similar)

*Ability to produce videos with a quick turnaround.

*Comfortable learning new online software (if not familiar with some of the above)

*Highly organized and task-oriented.

*Extremely timely with delivery of tasks.

*Ability to gain familiarity with our programs, philosophy and tone is a must.

*The ability to communicate and work with our teaUpgrade to see actual infombers.

*The ability to grow with our team and the dynamic nature of our work.

*The ability to comprehend and desire to learn about the subject matter of our content (i.e. business and marketing).
