Nectar is an Amazon and e-commerce digital marketing agency that provides full-service marketing solutions and Shopify web-design and development services for established manufacturers and brand owners. Nectar is searching for a Shopify Web-development Freelance Contractor within the Digital Marketing team who is hard-working, technologically savvy, excited by a fast-past environment, and motivated to help our company continue to grow at a rapid pace.

You must have at least four years of experience developing Shopify sites and working with e-commerce brands, and know the ins-and-outs of Shopify. If you do not have the requisite experience, your application will not be considered.

Responsibilities:
-Create Shopify websites based on UI/UX mockups and development documentation.
-Provide feedback and hurdles for website projects.
-QA/QC the Shopify designs and revision requests along with testing the functionality.
-We need a person who knows how to fix it right the first time and does not have a lot of back and forth.
-Occasionally, you will be requested to provide instructions for maintaining or revising parts of the site.
-Attend weekly one-on-one meetings with the supervisor (mandatory).


Requirements:
-Highly skilled, detail-oriented Developer, well-versed in modern e-commerce and Shopify best practices.
-Four years of experience with writing code for Shopify and Liquid, with some experience with Javascript jQuery, and AJAX.
-Understands project management: knows how to identify hurdles in meeting deadlines, and provides solutions to overcome hurdles.
-Fully Remote with dependable internet service
-Willingness to overlap work times with 9 AM EST - 2 PM EST. Start and end times can be flexible.
-English Fluency: You will need to provide 1-on-1 video walkthroughs and account insight, so it is critical that your English skills are fluent.
-Be a Collaborator: Sharing with the team best practices and methodology will be crucial because we are a team-based company
-Organized and Knows How to Prioritize: Organization and priority setting will be expected. You will need to show that you can handle projects and tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
-Warm, Friendly, and Fun: You know how to connect with the team and have a friendly and positive attitude towards your work and co-workers.
-Having a good sense of humor and being approachable is important.
