JOB OVERVIEW

We are a travel/hospitality tech company with a mission to build communities for digital nomads and we are donating a portion of our proceeds to help the unhoused and underhoused. Our company website is Upgrade to see actual info.

We are looking for a super talented react dev to join the team part time initially, with an opportunity to scale to full time with proof of timely execution and quality code!


Scope:

- Roughly 20 hours of availability on a weekly basis, during EST time zone
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using software development best practices
- Collaborate with other developers, UX designers, and product owners to ensure the best outcomes and experience for our customers and our users
- Create user interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on business and technical needs
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into our product and processes as appropriate
- Work with designers to match visual design intent

You Bring:

- 3+ years back-end experience with Javascript
- Front-end experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as React
- Experience with GraphQL
- Experience interfacing with relational databases
- Experience developing and using REST APIs
- Writing robust and testable code
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse technologies and techniques
- Experience working with web3 protocols such as ethersJS, Web3JS and react-web3 (preferred but not required)
