JOB OVERVIEW

Company Description:

Henry Dacosta is an American footwear brand headquartered in San Diego CA.

The purpose of this role would be to bolster our front-end web development capabilities so that we can quickly deploy technical solutions that can help fuel our growth (e.g., new website capabilities / features) and to provide additional support to the wholesale and customer service sides of the business (e.g., IT support, vendor/retailer support, bug fixes, etc.).

Responsibilities

Build and modify WordPress themes and templates
Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
Create security and data protection settings
Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
Write technical documentation
Building unique and (sometimes complex) integrations with 3rd party APIs and frameworks
Set goals and continuous improvement plans for site speed improvements sitewide and across specific pages to improve ranking and UX.
Implement A/B and multivariate testing tools and work with the eCommerce team to launch, measure, and optimize designs based on experiment results.
Assist in planning, creation, and execution of all E-Commerce marketing to optimize customer experience
Managing all product updates (text/images)
Manage all online activity in relation to traffic acquisition, sales, conversion and a/b testing and reporting
Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns
Develop optimization strategies that increase the company's search engine results rankings
Research SEO keywords to use throughout the company's website and marketing materials



Requirements and skills

Degree in Computer Science or relevant field
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
Experience designing and developing ecommerce Upgrade to see actual infoarch engine optimization (SEO), Google Analytics, Paid-per-Click advertising, Triggered and Bulk Emailing, Social Media, and other Ecommerce marketing experience is preferred.
Ability to apply a deep understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, mySQL, and PHP functions to create custom solutions in WordPress and Woo Commerce.
Familiarity with warehouse and order management systems, enterprise resource planning, and customer experience platforms.
Ability to design custom back-end solutions for internal customers and partners.
Woo Commerce experience is required; experience with other eCommerce platforms is a plus.
