JOB OVERVIEW

ROLE:

We are a fast growing home furnishing e-commerce brand is looking to hire an experienced Senior Planner to join our Supply Chain team. The ideal candidate should be detailed-oriented, organized, and have a good working knowledge of how purchasing departments function. You will be actively working with our Production and Operations teams to ensure that purchasing and inventory are operating at peak efficiency. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, adept at problem solving, and has a can-do approach.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Monitoring, reporting and taking all necessary actions to improve and achieve targets for KPI's of in-stock performance, inventory turns, proper warehouse stock, and on-time shipment from vendors for your product Upgrade to see actual infoing internal tools to accurately forecast future sales demand of all products.

Connecting with Sales, Marketing and Product development team to ensure successful launching of new products.

Placing purchase orders to overseas vendors to achieve optimal inventory coverage. Expediting orders to solve stockout issues.

Monitoring warehouse inventory levels and working on plans to mitigate over-capacity issues.

Tracking production and shipments of the orders to ensure they are shipped on time.

Liaising with logistics team to ensure all necessary information are updated to have shipments arrive to warehouses on time.

Collaborating with overseas vendors to identify opportunities to reduce supply lead-time, improve on-time shipment and move towards new systems and processes.

Keeping track of vendor payments.

Updating internal documents and systems as necessary.

Contributing to the team effort to improve internal processes, systems and tools.

Collaborating with other departments to ensure highest level of customer satisfaction.


QUALIFICATIONS:

3-5 years of experience in supply chain management preferred

Purchasing and inventory management experience

Lean, Six Sigma, or Kanban experience

Outstanding multitasking and organizational skills

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets

Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal)

Keen attention to detail

A team player attitude, also capable of working independently
