Google Analytics Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and knowledgeable Google Analytics Specialist. This role requires expert-level knowledge in Web Analytics (strategy, requirements, implementation, validation, reporting), specifically with Google Analytics.

You will be directly responsible for the successful execution of GA, including but not limited to initial setup, tracking, troubleshooting, analysis, and reporting.

The Google Analytics Specialist is self-motivated and stays up-to-date on trends, feature changes, and industry knowledge related to GA. They are an effective problem solver capable of managing competing priorities to meet deadlines and deliver outstanding work.

Responsibilities:

- Using various tools to extract and analyze data generated by online user activity.
- Provide in-depth and insightful custom reports to communicate key metrics and findings
- Recommend and create A/B or multivariate tests to improve user experience and conversion
- Document marketing strategies and processes and recommend improvements
- Validate all goals and tags are tracking properly
- Troubleshoot any goals not tracking and escalate for resolution, if needed


Qualifications:

- 3+ years experience in SEM/SEO
- Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics
- Knowledgeable in GA4 and setting up conversion tracking.
- Ability to set up and troubleshoot events and goals.
- Strong verbal and visual communication skills to present and explain insights.
- You’re comfortable with ambiguity, know how to clarify for action, and understand what drives business value.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as an effective member of a collaborative remote team
- Google Tag Manager knowledge is a plus!
