Frontend Web Developer

JOB BRIEF

We are looking for programmers with a keen eye for design for the position of front end developer. Front end developers are responsible for ensuring the alignment of web design and user experience requirements, optimising web pages for maximum efficiency, and maintaining brand consistency across all web pages, among other duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES

? Build and optimise web pages, landing pages, display advertising and email templates using expert-level HTML and CSS.
? Build and develop WordPress theme using Javascript, HTML, CSS
? Translation of UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application.
? You will work closely with the UI/UX designer and back end developers to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks and how it works.
? Determining the structure and design of web pages.
? Developing features to enhance the user experience.
? Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design.
? Ensuring web design is optimised for smartphones.
? Building reusable code for future use.
? Optimising web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
? Utilising a variety of markup languages to write web pages.
? Maintaining brand consistency throughout the design.

QUALIFICATIONS

???? Proficient knowledge in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, HTML5, JQuery, Bootstrap and PHP.
???? Must have at least a 4th generation laptop.
???? Understanding of key design principles.
???? Understanding of server-side CSS.
???? Experience with graphic design applications such as Adobe Illustrator.
???? Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
???? Understanding of SEO principles.
???? Good problem-solving skills.
