JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a full-time video editor (30-40 hrs a week) with experience in creating customized motion graphics.
I have an educational YouTube channel with almost 2 million subscribers, and I would like to create more engaging content to increase retention rates.

The job requires someone with FANTASTIC English skills since the edits will be based the what is said. Please only apply if you are confident in your English.

The Job:
The job will require you to edit live footage, audio, music, and screen recordings into instructional 10-minute tutorials. The videos will require custom motion graphics (that you create) to support the topics described on screen.

About You:
Passionate about video editing and motion graphics. You should be competent in videography software and knowledgeable in creating motion graphics from scratch. I don’t mind teaching you my workflow system, but I do not want to spend time teaching you how to edit a video or create graphics. I’m looking for EXPERIENCED editors who are willing to learn and looking for a LONG-TERM job.

My videos are about photography and design; it will be a big plus if you are interested in these topics since you will spend a lot of time editing this type of content. The quality of the videos is critical! The perfect candidate takes the initiative to suggest new ideas to improve the videos.

This job will require a lot of custom graphics. A good eye for design and modern looks is needed!

Requirements:
• Impressive work ethic! I have it, and you should as well.
• Video editing expert (knowledge of audio editing preferred).
• Motion Graphics expert.
• Expertise in Premiere and After Effects required. (Knowledge of Photoshop, Camtasia, or Blender is a plus)
• MUST have a computer that can handle 4k video editing and a RELIABLE, fast internet connection.
• Proficient in speaking and understanding English. Excellent English is a must. You will not be able to edit the videos if you do not understand the language.
• Team player and ability to both take direction and suggest new ideas.
• Proactive and energetic personality.
• Deadline & detail-oriented.
• Willingness to write a daily email describing tasks and Upgrade to see actual infomunication is important!!!
• Only work for me full-time.

Working Hours:
M-F: You set the hours, but I’ll expect you to be available during your set Upgrade to see actual infote: Rarely (and in coordination with you); you may need to work a weekend (again - very rarely!).

Benefits and Compensation:
• Fixed-Salary (Negotiable based on your experience.) Payment is bi-weekly or monthly. You dUpgrade to see actual info.
