Champions Gym is a boutique martial arts centre specialising in Boxing, Muay Thai and Strength training for the complete beginner right the way through to instructor status with an emphasis on health, well being and helping clients be their best everyday.

A rare opportunity is available to join our progressive and dynamic business! We are seeking a talented web developer with strong technical web development skills to deliver high-quality projects and support to the team. This is a part-time in-house role.

The right candidate will
Be responsive, and willing and able to learn in new technologies.
Have experience with WordPress customisations using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
Have experience with CLI deployments through SSH.
Have experience building pages using Elementor.
Ability to write standards-based CSS, HTML and JavaScript.
Strong PHP / WordPress development skills essential.
WooCommerce experienced preferred, though not essential.
Understand mobile first development.
Understand technical SEO and website structures.
Understand customisations of CRMs (Beneficial).

Key Responsibilities
Client and team liaison and consultation as required.
Build bespoke themes in WordPress, landing pages and email templates.
Maintain WHM staging server environment and manage production Upgrade to see actual infotting up general hosting and website Upgrade to see actual infoplete monthly maintenance and reporting on websites.
Create, manage, and maintain the website development process, workflows, and documentation.
General office I.T support.
Be able to work in a team environment or independently.
Work towards project budgets and deadlines.
Have a keen eye for detail, accuracy and adhere to best practices.
Fulfill other duties as required by Upgrade to see actual infomonstrable ability to diagnose, understand and fix technical performance issues.
Opttimising web pages for fast load times
Reducing image file sizes and ensuring pages are optimised not only for computer view, but also mobile and tablet responsiveness

What you need to Succeed
Experience in working across different platforms and solutions.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience
Experience working on multiple projects, in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent relationship builder, a team player.
Process driven, and solutions Upgrade to see actual infolf-motivated and an excellent communicator.
