QA Tester

Do you LOVE testing software? Have you been working as a QA professional for at least 3 years? We want to hear from you!

Do you enjoy creating test plans, writing acceptance criteria, and ensuring that end-users have a reliable and bug-free software solution?

As a QA Tester at Gather (Upgrade to see actual info), you will be in on the "ground floor" by becoming the first member of our product team to tackle the challenging job of providing professional, reliable, test procedures for our rapidly-growing, and UX-focused SaaS product!

We are a small team of 6 fully-remote product managers, developers, and customer success professionals creating innovative cloud-based software solutions for Interior Design and Architecture teams. --- Core Responsibilities ---

Helping to design and implement test processes and plans
Writing detailed test cases & ACs
Regression testing features, improvements, and bugs
Performing smoke tests when needed
API Testing
Working with the Product Manager to develop User Stories and create test plans
Working with the Support team to file, write and investigate bugs
Working closely with Developers as they release code through our CI/CD pipeline

SCRUM and Agile Methodologies
Trello (for Kanban)
Slack (for communication)
Google Sheets and Docs
Great spoken English language skills
Great English writing skills
Manual QA best-practices

--- Major Bonus points if you... ---

Are knowledgeable of Selenium, and writing automated test cases
Have some experience with at least one programming language, especially Ruby, Java or Python
Have experience working with automation tools such as Rainforest, or LambdaTest, etc.
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines such as CircleCI

--- Timezone and Work Hours ---

This is a full-time remote job. You can manage your own hours, but will need to be able to meet for our daily product stand-up between 9:00am-10:00am CT, Monday-Friday.
