Front-End Developer

Duties and Responsibilities:

Building, managing and maintaining the front-end of various internal projects
Working in an small Agile team, working with Jira to manage progress and estimate features
Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability applications
Create mockups and wireframes for prototyping
Maintain graphic standards and branding throughout the product’s interface
Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
Define and improve on software architecture
Assist back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting
Writing technical documentation where needed, training and support
Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
Promote usability best practices

Skills / Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT is helpful but not essential
1-3 years of software development experience
Good knowledge of at least one of the following technologies
VueJS, React.js, React Native, Flutter, Swift
Familiarity with at least one of the following Responsive Web Design (RWD) frameworks
Bootstrap, Bulma, Tailwind, UIKit
Strong HTML, CSS, SASS, and JavaScript skills
Experience with module bundlers, in particular Webpack
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, in particular Git
Knowledge on advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks
Self-managing and able to work with minimal supervision
Excellent English communication skills both written and oral
Familiarity with tools such as Adobe XD or Adobe Photoshop is a plus
