Full Stack Developer

Duties and Responsibilities:

Building, managing and maintaining the front-end and back-end of various internal projects
Working in an small Agile team, working with Jira to manage progress and estimate features
Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability applications
Create mockups and wireframes for prototyping
Maintain graphic standards and branding throughout the product’s interface
Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
Define and improve on software architecture
Assist back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting
Writing technical documentation where needed, training and support
Promote usability best practices
Build features from requirements, through coding, testing, documentation, and release to stakeholders
Communicate project status, and respond to questions in a clear and timely manner
Able to juggle multiple priorities, learn new technologies, and adapt to change
Provide technical guidance and support to teaUpgrade to see actual infombers as necessary

Skills / Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT is helpful but not essential
4-6 years of software development experience
Ability to work in a task-oriented environment
Excellent English communication skills both written and oral

Front-End Skills & Qualifications:

Good knowledge of at least one of the following technologies: VueJS, React.js, React Native, Flutter, Swift
Familiarity with at least one of the following Responsive Web Design (RWD) frameworks: Bootstrap, Bulma, Tailwind, UIKit
Strong HTML, CSS, SASS, and JavaScript skills
Experience with module bundlers, in particular Webpack
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, in particular Git
Knowledge on advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks
Familiarity with tools such as Adobe XD or Adobe Photoshop is a plus

Back-End Skills & Qualifications:

Demonstrable knowledge of design patterns, algorithms and data structures
Advanced programming experience with web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript and CSS
Experience with at least one of the following technologies: NodeJS + Express, Python + Django, PHP + Laravel
Advanced understanding of how to read and write to various types of NoSQL databases: MongoDB, DynamoDB, ElasticSearch, or other database
Experience with creating RESTFUL APIs
Working understanding of Cloud Infrastructure, in particular GCP Infrastructure
Experience with deploying and securing remote cloud servers
Familiarity with integration technologies like Zapier and Integromat (Make) is a plus
Familiarity with automation technologies like Selenium and GhostInspector is a plus
