You will report to the Director, Global Head Enterprise Sourcing, Procurement & External Workforce Management and will plan, establish, and manage information technology (IT) projects and will serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of assigned projects. This position will provide leadership for each category including strategy/plans, strategic sourcing, and other strategic procurement processes such as supplier relationship management, spend performance management, category governance, and supplier diversity.
Expected Work Hours and Timezone: You are expected to work during US business hours. You are also expected to work on occasional weekends due to business needs.
As a Project Manager, you will provide excellence by:
* Being responsible for tracking the overall program.
* Executing strategic initiatives, and as necessary driving ongoing operational excellence improvement projects across the organization (including process and technology implementation)
* Analyzing industry trends and evolving procurement technologies to proactively identify opportunities to adapt leading practices
* Developing, maintaining, and revising proposals for assigned projects including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, timelines, funding, and staffing.
* Setting and tracking project milestones; manages and accounts for unforeseen delays then realigns schedules and expectations as needed.
* Establishing and implementing project communication plans, and providing status updates to affected staff and stakeholders.
* Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports.
* Performing other related duties as assigned.
Do you have what it takes to be our Project Manager?
Consider yourself highly qualified if you have:
* At least 10 years of experience in leading and executing technical projects in the financial services sector.
* Sound knowledge of Agile/ Scrum Project Management methodologies and applications.
* Knowledge in Excel Analysis, and requirement gathering, and can confidently create client presentations using MS Project, Powerpoint, Visio, etc.
* Extensive client-facing experience in presenting proposals and project coordination.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Exceptional communication skills
