The Ruby on Rails Developer is in charge of building and maintaining Ruby-based server-side web application logic for the Rails framework. Back-end components are typically developed by the Ruby on Rails Developer, who also connect the application to other (often third-party) web services and assist front-end developers by integrating their work with the application.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code and turning it into a working theme.
2. Testing and improving existing Ruby software
3. Writing, developing, testing, and implementing new software and web applications in Ruby
4. Integration of data storage solutions
5. Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic
6. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that the implementation is effective, visually appealing, and intuitive.
7. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
8. Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization
9. Create sufficient documentation of the software
10. Offer customers specific advice and suggestions in the Ruby area
11. Creation, administration, and maintenance of APIs
