PHP Developer - Laravel

Australian based Web Design and Marketing company is looking for a Senior Laravel Web Developer on a project basis to help build websites andfollow with support and maintenancem.

You will hit the ground running and be ready to start on your first website when you join the team.

The role is open to mid-weight, mid-senior, and senior Developers (6+ years of commercial experience).

As their new PHP Developer, you will:

Conducting analysis of website and application requirements

Writing back-end code and building efficient PHP modules

Developing back-end portals with an optimised database

Troubleshooting application and code issues

Integrating data storage solutions

Releasing new back-end features and testing web applications

Updating and altering application features to enhance performance

Essential skills:

· Knowledge of PHP web frameworks, Laravel preferred, or Symfony / CodeIgniter

· Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, and HTML5

· Understanding of object-oriented PHP programming

· Understanding of MVC designs

· Previous experience creating scalable applications

· Proficient with code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, CVS, and SVN

· Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases
