Great Opportunity! Video Editor to create & edit compelling Youtube Videos that match our vision

[UPDATE] We haven't filled the position yet. Great Opportunity for a dynamic Video Editor. We are looking for a part-time, experienced Video Editor to create and edit compelling videos. We are a lead generation, marketing company providing leads to our clients in the Insurance and Financial industries through Youtube advertising campaigns.

You will be required to assemble, create and edit recorded/raw/stock footage and convert them into finished videos that match our vision in a creative way. You will play an important role in the company’s success as our Youtube advertising videos are a key piece in generating leads for our clients in the Insurance and Financial industries.

Hours will be 15 - 20 hrs/wk with possibility of more.

Good English speaking and writing skills. Youtube advertising experience REQUIRED.

You will be doing a variety of tasks, almost all of which I will create tutorials for you. You will be responsible for:

- Assembling raw footage or creating videos from stock images/videos according to a provided brief and transfer/upload final video to a google drive.
- Ability to follow an English script or outline and creating video imagery from provided raw footage or finding stock video/images
- Input effects, graphics, voiceovers and music into the videos to enhance what’s being shown on-screen
- Prepare rough and final cuts for the videos
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
- Creating Thumbnails for YouTube Videos
- Transferring or uploading files to a Google drive
- Regularly collaborate with teaUpgrade to see actual infombers from production to post-production process

WHAT SKILLS ARE REQUIRED?
- 3-5 plus years of experience as a video editor
- Strong video editing skills
- Manipulating and editing video pieces
- Reviewing a brief to understand production team’s needs and specifications
- Proven work experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio
- Knowledge of professional audio/video editing and post-production procedures.
- Solid experience using desktop video and editing equipment and software such as; Screenflow, Camtasia, After Effects, etc.
- Working knowledge of: Youtube and other social media channel video formats
- Strong organizational skills with ability to maintain video and photo libraries
- Good time management skills
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work as a collaborative member of creative team
- Excellent ability to work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
- Experience in Google Docs, Google Sheets
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are REQUIRED
- Experience with Youtube advertising
- Basic Experience with Lead Generation is a PLUS
