JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking to fill the role of a YouTube marketer. The YouTube marketer will oversee the promotion of our YouTube channel and individual videos to ensure they align with our overall marketing strategy. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, conducting research regarding our target audience as well as the audiences of our competition and optimizing videos to ensure maximum views.

Additional responsibilities include title creation to generate greater impact, maximizing exposure through the use of SEO and thumbnail selection, increasing the number of subscribers, and leveraging videos across other social media platforms for more views.

Responsibilities
Below are some of the responsibilities a YouTube marketer is expected to assume in their position:

Define and implement channel strategy, including long-term goals, go-to-market strategies, and key performance indicators within YouTube’s search engine
Manage channel content, including live-stream events, digital media assets, social media marketing campaigns, and owned/earned/paid media
Create, maintain, and promote channel content, including videos and other assets
Develop and oversee channel community, including channel moderators, marketing managers, and a network of channel partners
Manage and enforce channel policies and guidelines
Develop channel marketing strategy and implement tactics, including paid and organic search, social, and display advertising
Manage channel communications, including social media, blogs, and other owned/earned/paid media
Oversee channel business analytics, including reporting, analysis, and optimization
Develop and implement channel budget

Job Qualifications and Skill Sets
Below are the qualifications expected of a YouTube marketer:

2-4 years of experience in marketing, preferably at an agency or in-house
Expert knowledge of social media marketing, including paid and organic channels
Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Creative eye for design and video content
Excellent time management and project management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
