Social Media Copy Editor

We are looking for a part-time Copy Editor for our social media content. We are a mortgage company and we are aiming to have someone onboarded to make our social media content appealing and right for our target potential clients and members.

Job Description:
- Edit our engaging marketing, recruiting, and headline copies for social media content, guides and blog posts, etc.
- Editing and proofreading copy to improve readability through formatting, grammar, and punctuation
- Optimize original site content for social platforms.
- Track breaking news and trending topics regarding mortgages.
- Editing copy to improve readability and concision
- Improve writing deadlines
- Checks for technical consistency in spelling, capitalization, font usage, numerals, and hyphenation.
- Ensuring document or web layout is accurate and meets client expectations

Qualifications:
- Must have extensive experience in copywriting/copy editing.
- Proficient in Google Suite
- Tech-savvy
- Fluency in the English language
