Accounting Assistant:
Cleanup Role
• Customer Service Rep will notify you of new clean up needed
• Communicate with client to retrieve all required documents (statements, invoices, etc) to complete cleanup
• Research client industry to ensure proper chart of accounts
• Categorize Transactions
• Any unresolved transactions add to an excel sheet for Staff Accountant to review
• Once reviewed by staff accountant, schedule a call with client to go over excel sheet for complete categorization
Monthly Bookkeeping Role
• If clean-up is needed follow the same steps as above
• Staff Accountant will send over any unresolved transactions for client to review. Schedule a call with client to resolve all uncategorized transactions.
Taxes
• If clean-up is needed follow the same steps as above
• Alert Senior Accountant when clean-up is complete so tax return can be filed
Other
• Perform some Administrative roles
• Preferable with knowledge in US Taxes
• For INDIVIDUAL FREELANCER Only, not open to agencies.
