Central to our growth ambition is the ability to rapidly build the Perch Platform to develop scalable data reporting infrastructure that provides transparency for all stakeholders and partners with the organization to drive change. We are looking for a talented Analyst to contribute to the development of the world-class analyst function that supports the organization's long-term objectives.

Responsibilities


Reporting to the VP of Upstream Supply Chain, this position is responsible for supporting the overall data gathering and analysis needs of the Upstream organization. This role will work closely with stakeholders throughout the supply chain and cross-functionally with growth and finance teams, contributing in several ways, including:
Support the Upstream team in creating, running and iterating on queries to pull needed data (such as spend, revenue and volume data on a product, supplier and category level) using SQL/Snowflake.
Maintain and refresh critical datasets used by the team as the data changes (for example, as we add new suppliers or as costs change).
Develop effective, standardized and scalable reporting to ensure teams have accurate, up-to-date information needed to manage their businesses Upgrade to see actual infoe data and analysis skills to identify leading indicators for key business areas.
Build and run analysis to surface actionable insights, such as highest potential areas of cost savings across the supply Upgrade to see actual infoe data to inform prioritization and track performance towards chosen goals over time.
Support key metric tracking, such as cost fluctuations over time and on-time percentage.
Build processes and controls to help us scale our use and analysis of data.
Identify shortcomings in our data and work with relevant stakeholders to remediate.


About You


We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated professional to join and help build our Upstream function. The ideal candidate will have experience dealing with ambiguity and starting from scratch (whether in an entrepreneurial environment or building new things within a larger organization). They will be motivated by an opportunity to break the mold and ride the edge between speed and scalability. They should possess following key attributes and skills:

Advanced SQL skills
3+ years experience as Analyst
Proven experience working with databases and querying large amounts of data in Snowflake.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is critical. Must have exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Possesses a fundamental degree of knowledge of data sources, supply chain processes, and understands how data is utilized to support overall supply chain goals.
Advanced Excel/Google Sheets analysis skills.
Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
Strong communication skills
