Hi! We publish several online blogs and have been in business for over 5 years. We are looking to add a virtual assistant to our growing company.

To best ensure your success, here are the qualifications we are looking for:

Top Priority:
- Content creation: upload, edit, and proofread content from other writers to the blog; write some blog articles, add images, assist in content planning, optimize blog posts, create and manage an editorial calendar, etc.
- Social media management: create images for Pinterest, add images/graphics to blog posts, manage social media posts and scheduling.
- Email management: check emails and handle inquiries, organize inbox, etc.
- SEO: Assist with basic search engine optimization, draft article outlines for writers, etc. (training available).
- Daily Teams Check-In calls (voice and video)- Even though we are all working remotely we have a great time every day interacting with each other :)

Responsibilities will grow and opportunities for advancement will be available.

Minimum Requirements-
- Fluent English (Speaking and Writing)
- Experience working with WordPress blogs, creating and writing content, proofreading, editing, and publishing on WordPress platform
- Excellent with Word
- Excellent with graphic design platforms and image editing tools like Canva, etc.
- - a "go-getter-problem-solver" personality
- Positive, no excuse attitude
- a Team Player who can also work with minimum supervision
- High Attention to details (when applying please mention the name of the NHL team for Winnipeg Manitoba in the subject line so we'll know you've read it through our posting).
- Extreme amount of trust and loyalty
- Excellent communication skills and fun personality
- Full Time Availability - 8 hours a day, 5 days a week
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
- Advantage: Working with collaboration tools like Asana
- Advantage: Experienced with SEO research and writing

Workspace & Computer Requirements:
- A reliable, wired internet connection with 10mbps or higher
- Computer Processor with 1.8Ghz or higher
- USB noise cancelling controlled headset
- Quiet workspace

Compensation, Perks & Benefits:
- Starting Wage $700-$850 USD based on experience
- Opportunities to grow inside the company and increase wages
- 2 Weeks of Paid Vacation for every 12 months of work completed

Hours of work will be Monday - Friday 10AM - 6PM American Central Time. Some flexibility is possible for a highly independent "go-getter-problem-solver" personality.
