JOB OVERVIEW

Reporting to: Project Manager - IT Projects
Hours: Monday to Friday
9am - 5.30pm (Australian Eastern Standard Time), 1-hour lunch

Requirements:
+Stable Internet Access
+Hours tracked via TimeDoctor or similar
+Ability to be contacted via phone and SMS/Messenger.

Programming Experience:
+Primary language PHP and MySQL for database
+Must be experienced in using MVC frameworks (Kohana and Laravel is a plus)
+Must be experienced in maintaining the legacy system and comfortable dealing with natively written PHP systems without using any frameworks.
+Has expertise in HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, Javascript/JQuery programming, and Cross Browser compatibilities such as Chrome, Firefox, IE, Safari, and mobile devices
+Must be experienced with GIT/Bitbucket/Sourcetree including setting up repos on servers.
+Must be experienced in deploying the project on dedicated cloud servers without CPanel via SSH (Bitvise).
+Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics is a plus
+Ability to work with APIs is a must, (we use Sendgrid, Mandrill, Chargebee, google map API, and NabTransact)
+A new junior coder will be added to the team within a few months and must have the ability to guide and manage new coders.
+Is willing to learn new things and can easily be trained in other skills
+All applicants must include a link or files with their portfolio!
+If working from home can work from home without distractions
+Must be on Windows and using WampServer for development

Major IT Projects
+Liaise with DoS on new projects and website features.
+Ability to break down and write a detailed specification of tasks required to roll out new projects or features.
+Manage the progress and provide daily updates on the progression of the project.

+BugHerd - bug and task tracking software, separated within the software by projects.
+TimeDoctor monitoring staff hours.
+Back up systems currently in place. (R1 services for file backup)
+Bitbucket: Code Repository for all projects
+Servers: OVH for both Dev (Demo server) and Live (Production server). Linode (extra small server) for extreme server research.
+Server OS: Centos 7
+CDN: Rackspace CDN
+Cloudflare: All sites DNS, HTTPS, and Firewall services
+Crazydomain: Domain names for all sites
+Liason with our consultant SysAdmin on any server/database issues or upgrades required.
