JOB OVERVIEW

FUN JOB WITH LOTS OF FREEDOM!

Looking for a long-term *partner* who can grow with the business :) We're fun people to work with and are looking for someone who can learn and develop our processes and possibly move into a supervisory role later on. We also may be hiring *multiple* people with this job posting, so if you are extremely qualified, there is a good chance we will be working together! :)

Preferred qualifications include business, finance, and accounting academic experience (Master's degree preferred and a PhD would be a great bonus, but neither are 100% necessary). Bonus points for prior teaching experience as well as professional/industry experience. It would be great if you have experience with a LMS (learning management system) such as Blackboard. High written English abilities are necessary! Academic research skills are a plus (such as ability to write reports and cite in APA style).

Job can start part time and then move to full-time, as trust and skills are built. We expect to be your only employer eventually. Thank you for your time!

- Assist in organizing syllabi and course materials for classes.
- Calculate student averages on spreadsheet at end of semester and produce report for professor.
- Proofread written materials.
- Assist in developing course/curriculum materials.

- Write documents.
- Reply to routine student requests via e-mail, e.g. "When does class meet?", "When are your office hours?", etc.
- Miscellaneous tasks, such as organizing research data, do Internet research, etc.

***Requirements:

- Complete written English fluency.
- Impeccable Email etiquette, with very few or zero grammatical or spelling errors.
- Excellent communication skills. Willingness to send daily reports of tasks accomplished.
- Desire and drive to develop own task list from a project list, that is, to independently identify the chain of steps necessary to complete a project, and execute steps.
- Ability and willingness to proofread documents.
- Flexibility to have at least a few hours of the workday to be available for Skype, email and chat with us to discuss planning.

We hope to provide permanent, steady work (with preference towards being your only employer). On our end, we provide respect for you and your work, as our current workers can attest to! :)
