Video Editor & YouTube Manager, Full-Time

Hello!

We are looking for a dedicated Video Editor & YouTube Manager. This is a full-time, long-term position.

A lot of our videos are simple and short (mostly 2-minute talking head videos) so you don’t need to be an expert editor. We provide all footage, so no stock footage is needed.

We’d also like you to post the videos on YouTube, filling out the description box, the tags, etc.

We have step-by-step tutorials for these tasks and will create more tutorials in the future for any new tasks.

You will also convert horizontal videos to vertical, for repurposing to other social media platforms.

We also film longer, more complex videos, so in the future there will be opportunity for a creative, positive person to take on more responsibility, if that interests you!

FOR THIS JOB YOU WILL NEED:
- a good computer that can handle large files
- fast internet speed
- video editing software
- photo editing software (PhotoShop is not required, the software could be something like iPhoto, for example)

You must be fluent in English, with good communication skills.

You should be comfortable with organization systems or willing to learn! We use Google Sheets, Google Docs, ClickUp and Dropbox.


MUST-HAVE SKILLS:
- editing video
- editing photos
- thumbnail design
- able to add captions and subtitles to videos
- able to convert horizontal videos to vertical videos


NOT REQUIRED, BUT WOULD BE A BONUS IF:
- you know how to post YouTube videos with video description, tags, etc
- you have YouTube posting experience
- you have SEO and keyword knowledge
- you are familiar with Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts
