Project Manager/Product Manager

About NxtStep:

We are a Product Strategy Consulting Company helping non-profits, startups, and SMBs at various stages of product development. We love helping companies build products with a cause and purpose. Nxtstep is looking to grow an interdisciplinary team of UX Researchers and Product Designers with an emphasis in UX research, customer discovery, as well as software product management.

We offer flexible hours such as contract, part-time, and full-time positions. We are also fully remote and offer training opportunities as we are always learning new ways to improve and adapt to the fast-pace of tech product development.

The Role:

- Prioritizing features and tasks in project management software
- Managing designers to create user interface designs
- Managing development teams to prioritize feature development
- Identify client needs with business objectives to help roadmap MVPs
- Create and manage workflows with agile methodologies
- Set goals and define success with team and clients
- Monitoring the market and developing competitive analyses

About You:

- Comfortable working independently and with a small team
- Strong passion for learning and improving
- Prefer to follow a scalable process
- Enjoy building new creative processes
- Possess a strong vision and willingness to execute products
- Organized, collaborative, and adaptable

Your Experience:

- 1-3 years background in Marketing, Business, UX Design, Tech
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
