Business Category Manager

Truely’s main source of revenue is through affiliate partnerships with service providers in different categories and Upgrade to see actual info each category team, we do the entire cycle of content, from category hunting daily, intensive keyword research before finalizing a subcategory, generating content for newly researched and selected categories, to posting the generated content to our live site using our in-house CMS. We are now at 1300+ subcategories and counting!

The role will be a strategic and operational one. You will need to make sure we have a continuous growth of newly approved subcategories in your industry, and also a growing % of listed sites with affiliate programs per subcategory created. The current metric can be easily improved as we have just launched the newly redesigned version of Truely.

You will be assigned a growing team as well as interns to help you scale this operation.

Your role will be to make sure we continue adding new subcategories for the other teams to process.


Responsibilities:

- Create systems to properly prioritize the team’s operations
- Increase % of list of sites with affiliate programs
- Adding competent subcategories within your industry of expertise
- Manage the current list of subcategories and make sure they are in the right categories
- Manage the list of sites per subcategory and make sure they are on the right subcategory._ (For example: [seoclerk](Upgrade to see actual info) may be in the “SEO Companies” subcategory instead of “SEO Marketplace”)


KPIs: (not limited to the ff)

- Number of added new subcategories
- % of list of sites with affiliate program per subcategory
- Effectiveness of the categories team
