Position Title: CK Group IT Project Manager
Reporting to: Director of Business Development, Sales & Marketing.
CK Group ALL
Hours: 9am - 5:00pm (Australian Eastern Standard), 30 minute lunch
Position available to start immediately.
Offshore - Project Manager will be required to be based out of an outsourced office environment with stable internet and power connection.
Must work 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday
+ Primary language PHP and MySQL for database
+ Must be experienced in using MVC frameworks (Kohana is a plus)
+ Must be experienced with GIT/Bitbucket including setting up repos on servers.
+ Must be experienced in deploying the project on dedicated cloud servers and setting up/maintaining server configuration without Cpanel. Rackspace Server OS Linux(Centos 7) is used.
+ Knowledge of SEO is a plus
+ Ability to work with APIs is a must, (we use MailChimp, Mandrill, Chargebee, google map API)
+ A new junior coder will be added to the team within a few months, must have the ability to guide and manage new coders.
+ Is willing to learn new things and can easily be trained in other skills
+ All applicants must include a link or files with their portfolio!
+ Can work from home without distractions
+ Stable internet connection.
+ Must be on Windows and using WampServer for development
Day to Day Management of Coders:
+ Day to Day management of coders.
+ Responsible for following up coders who are not online for their respective shifts.
+ Monitoring TImeDoctor reports preventing poor time use.
End of month timesheet reporting including calculating total hours in preparation for salaries to be paid.
+ Making sure all coders have completed the IT splits documents within a maximum of 3 days. If coder not available, PM to call and complete details over the phone.
+ Monitor and Test any tasks marked as completed on BugHerd.
+ Update dev server with tasks that have been completed.
+ Weekly rolling check of various parts of CK Group’s IT platform to make sure everything is still functioning.
Major IT Projects
+Liaise with DoS on new projects and website features.
+Ability to break down and write a detailed specification of tasks required to roll out new projects or features.
+Engage and then manage coders who will build the various parts of each project. Coders can be sourced from Freelancer or hired on a project/fulltime basis as required.
+Manage the progress and provide weekly updates on the progression of the project.
+ Manage the interview and sourcing of new coders as required.
