You are a task-oriented individual and a great problem solver who exemplifies Agile values and principles. Your role is crucial in ensuring that the team can produce and deliver high-quality work. You will serve as the go-to person in understanding the big picture of each sprint.
Be an Agile coach and mentor for the team, driving them on their agile / scrum journey of continual improvement
Shine a light on the blind spots that teams may encounter in their journey to continual improvement
Enables and assists the Scrum Team to remove any impediments themselves
Safeguard the team from distractions that may arise beyond their control
Recognize anti-patterns and advise the team on why and how these are to be avoided
Guide the team on facilitation of their own ceremonies, whilst providing valuable input and coaching on how to improve and get more value out of the ceremonies
Educate stakeholders outside the scrum team about how to inspect what the team is working on, advising what metrics offer insight, and avoiding their misuse
Serve as a very close ally to the Product Owners, offering insight into how value is sliced (vertical vs horizontal) and ensuring the team is fully engaged when refining PBIs
Requirements and Skills:
Minimum 2 years of work experience in a Scrum Master role is required
Proven knowledge in the practice of modern Agile development practices
Confidence to engage Developers, Testers, DevOps, UX-UI in a language they’ll understand
Knowledge of scaling frameworks especially LeSS
Familiarization with continuous integration/continuous delivery/DevOps approaches Jira/ Confluence
Scrum Master / Professional Scrum Master I certification is a plus
Willing to work outside of agreed scheduled office hours to attend on meetings/huddles, if necessary
Must have his/her own work-from-home equipment (computer/laptop, webcam, headset, and wired internet connection)
