Truck Logistics - Dispatcher

We are looking for a highly motivated experienced FULL-TIME Truck Dispatcher with great attitude and excellent communication skills, who knows how to negotiate and book the best load for the driver, knows how to plan the week, and knows how to operate with DOT ELD regulations.

The trucks that we are dispatching are:

- Semi - Power Only Unit (Local / Regional / OTR Loads
- 26’ Foot Box Trucks (10,000lbs weight capacity) / Dock Height / w/ Lift Gate
- Sprinter Van (Ram Promaster / High Roof / Long Length)

Responsibilities will include:

- Responsible for the coordination, scheduling, dispatching and planning of customer freight shipments
- Being familiar with Load Boards - DAT / Amazon Relay / and various Broker Sites
- Ability to negotiate and book loads for drivers
- Book Loads that will keep the drivers happy and generate income for the company.
- Bonuses paid for successful new contracts and bookings*
- Act as the main point of contact for all driver facing communication via phone, Qualcomm, Omni and E-mail
- Offer exceptional support to drivers to ensure that their professional needs are being met
- Monitor shipments throughout transit in order to effectively meet delivery schedules
- Respond to customers efficiently, thoroughly, and professionally
- Manage customer and driver expectations to align with operational capabilities
- Maintain and establish new strong relationship with customers and drivers
- Monitor performance and available hours of Fleet Drivers
- Work cooperatively with customer service/sales to provide solutions for customers’ needs and resolve issues
- Other duties as assigned
- Qualified individual will be responsible for driver efficiency while ensuring all customer expectations are met
- Individual must have previous oilfield knowledge and experience within the transportation industry
Serves as a point of contact for drivers
- Ability to communicate clearly in a respectful manner at all times with both customers and drivers
- Understands DOT regulations
- Understands ELD Logs and Driver hours of operation.
