Buyer

As a Buying Assistant with IntelliCar, your main function is to initiate the process of obtaining used vehicles to later be sold as retail units at one of our dealerships. Once a Buying Assistant completes the training program, they will be responsible for many tasks that are integral to the success of the entire company. These duties include value research, market analysis, establishing a general knowledge of parts/labor costs in the market, transport of new units, and negotiating with vendors, among other things.

Buying Assistants work closely with management to provide a constant flow of units into IntelliCar’s selection of pre-owned retail and wholesale inventory. After Assistants are fully trained, they will act independently from the Lead Buyer and be wholly responsible for all purchases made, as well as negotiations, transport, and market assessments.
