Accountant

We are an Australian business looking for a full-time person to join our team. Full-time hours is 9am to 5pm Brisbane time.
Please do not apply as a freelancer as we are not interested in people whom are holding multiple roles for multi companies as you will be required for adhoc meetings.

Qualifications & experience

Demonstrable high-level knowledge of accounts and advanced skills using Xero accounting package.
Familiar with the e-commerce business and account and familiar with the following software:
- Shopify, Paypal, Stripe and Amazon payouts reconciliation
High Attention to detail with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to learn our inhouse computer systems and software
Fast Learner, adapt quickly to new skills
Able to prepare BAS and IAS summaries.
Highly disciplined, motivated, organised with a high standard of personal presentation.

Tasks & responsibilities
Accounts Payable and Receivable
Monthly BAS, Figures
General Accounts, Office and Administration Duties
Weekly Payroll, Superannuation, PAYG, Payroll Tax, Workcover
Preparation & monitoring of budgets, cash flow, profit & loss, and other accounting duties.
Ensuring records and reference material is maintained accurately
Assist the Director as required
