JOB OVERVIEW

THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING MORE THAN JUST BOOKKEEPING!

We are looking for someone who is genuinely motivated to work autonomously when required and be part of a bigger global team. We are a multi award winning Bookkeeping and Management Accounting company located in Sydney, Australia. We currently have 2 full-time employees in Cebu, Philippines via a BPO but are looking to hire direct for this Upgrade to see actual info addition to the functions listed below you will also be responsible helping me (the owner) manage the day to day operations of our practice including bookkeeping for the practice and email management. The role also requires you to oversee our 2 existing teaUpgrade to see actual infombers in Cebu. Your client workload will not be full-on as most of what you do will be assisting with overload and looking after VIP clients.

We are ideally looking for someone who has experience with Australian income tax laws and GST. Payroll knowledge is desirable but not essential.

You must love technology and be always wanting to make things work better and more efficient. All our clients use Xero or QuickBooks online so experience with these packages is essential.

You have at least 8 years experience as a qualified accountant or accounting technician and have worked with multiple small businesses.

• Daily general accounting processes
• Bank feed allocations
• Bank reconciliations
• Accounts payable management
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Cashflow management
• Payroll processing
• Accrual and prepayment of expense/income
• Asset register and depreciation
• Management reporting actual vs budget
• Preparation of monthly management reporting packages
• Ensure accuracy of financial data across different integrated platforms
• Provide financial insights
• Prepare accounts ready for GST/BAS lodgements
• Assist with on-boarding new clients on Xero and QuickBooks Online
• Work with multiple apps like, Dext, Dear Inventory, Shopify
• Develop and maintain effective client relationships
