Experienced Australian Tax Accountant

We are a Sydney based accounting firm seeking an Experienced Australian Taxation Accountant with atleast 18 months experience working with an Australian Accounting Firm.

Responsibilities
Year end processing of annual accounts in client's working paper compliance program for Individuals, Trusts and Companies
Cross checking all profit and loss and balance sheet accounts
Wage, BAS, Sales, Super, Hire Purchase, Fixed assets, Bank Account reconciliations
Div 7A understanding and calculations
Bookkeeping, Payroll
Compilation of letters, tax returns, financial statements
Completing BAS returns
Dividend statements, Trust distribution minutes

Essential Criteria
Advanced experience with Xero and Xero Tax software is essential
1.5 years' current experience as an Australian Tax Accountant
A graduate of BS Accountancy
Knowledge of Australian Tax Laws and Corporate structures
Familiar in using MS Office/Teams
Experience with Karbon
Advanced skills in Excel (Vlookup, macros etc), Word and Outlook
Well organised and have the ability to multitask
Minimum 3 years' in a similar role
Excellent presentation and time management skills
Professional and mature approach
Proficient in English (both in written and spoken)
Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
High attention to detail
Excellent working PC/Laptop
Reliable wired internet connection (speed should be at least 5Mbps for download and 3Mbps for upload)
