As a Deluge Programmer at Aether, you’ll create custom automation solutions and
applications for our clients. This includes integrating third party online software applications
(commonly referred to as Software as a Service, or SaaS), creating automated workflows
and writing functions within a suite of SaaS applications created by Zoho Corporation,
including Zoho CRM, Zoho Creator, and Zoho Projects.
As part of the Deluge Team, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Creating scripts in a serverless environment to create custom automations within a
list of applications used by both the Employer and the Employer's clients. This
includes coding in Python and Zoho Deluge.
- Researching and creating API Calls which will be used to integrate applications used
by the Employer and the Employer's clients.
- Troubleshooting issues and trouble tickets related to automations created by the
Employer within a list of applications, or related to API created by the Employer.
- Managing and reporting the status of all assigned tasks within the Employer's Project
Management Software.
- Contributing to Aether’s core value of continuous improvement through making
suggestions on ways to improve both ours and our clients’ processes.
- Acting as a full fledged member of the team by providing assistance when called
upon, and by asking for help when you need it.
Other responsibilities include:
- Creating, editing and trouble shooting "flows" within a GUI Coding environment (eg:
Zoho Flow, MS Flow, or Zapier) - this is for legacy clients; generally we do not work in
this environment
- Drafting user stories based on end-user requirements, as described by our clients
and sales associates
- Drafting user manuals for automations and functions created by the Employee.
