Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain and Logistics professional to join our team! The Supply Chain and Logistics Manager will coordinate all supply chain planning and related activities for our online dietary supplement business. This new role provides the opportunity to make a real impact on business results, process design and our operational efficiency. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and grow our business in this critical area while also developing your supply chain management skills.

As the lead supply chain and logistics resource, the manager will work with our teams to provide a supply chain framework, inventory tracking automation, demand and replenishment planning, KPI reporting, and continuous efficiency improvements across the business. This person will also help integrate the latest business analysis and demand insights into the operational forecast.

What You’ll Do
Areas, where you have specific demonstrated experience, are as follows.
--Have extensive practical experience with Amazon FBA, US-based 3PLs, ShipBob or similar fulfillment networks, and the interaction of those as a system.
--Have experience with cloud based logistics management tools and be able to choose and implement the right one for our business, if appropriate.
--Demonstrate a track record of successfully managing the supply chain function of a dietary supplement business, preferably with a focus on D2C/ecommerce.
--Plan and implement the supply chain strategy including forward planning, demand forecasting, and execution.
--Liaise with sales and marketing team members internally to keep relevant supply chain information available and flowing both ways.
--Ensure smooth integration and data flow with the order fulfillment and an inventory management tool that will be implemented.
--Develop, analyze, and manage daily, weekly and monthly inventory reports to ensure optimum inventory levels based on the most accurate demand data communicated business analysis, marketing as well as third party logistics (3PLs)
--Build, analyze & execute inventory annual/quarterly/monthly supply schedules for all SKUs based on adjusted sales forecasts and translate these forecasts to inventory replenishment recommendations.
--Create and maintain dashboards to track Key Performance Indicators impacting inventory management.
--Develop and implement key SOPs within areas of responsibility. Identify and introduce best practices for inventory modeling, reporting, and analysis.
In
vestigate and timely communicate any possible risks that may have significant impact on inventory replenishment and operational efficiency.
--Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build forecasting models and automate inventory reports
--Build and communicate accurate inventory reports to the finance/accounting/brand management teams
--Drive Supply Chain efficiencies to help grow the company and save costs such as optimized freight and small parcel delivery methods and suppliers, improved returns functions, as well as automation and process improvement opportunities.
--Monitor competitor and non-competitor websites for industry trends and identify new development opportunities
--Explore methods of optimizing order management practices to decrease costs across any Supply Chain customer touch point that will drive profitability
--Partner with customer service and external stakeholders to drive on time resolution of escalations
--Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize site promotions
--Participate in special projects, providing leadership and expertise as needed on cross-functional teams

Who You Are
--The suitable candidate has a proven track record working within the Supply Chain team of a Dietary Supplement Company with a strong D2C presence, including US based marketplaces such as Amazon.com. In your capacity as the Supply Chain and --Logistics Manager you specifically demonstrate the following traits.
--You’re quick to extract value through your job; own projects and bring them to complete execution independently; have the experience to mobilize existing team members efficiently.
--You have a go-getter attitude with a can-do approach; you are able to fly solo when needed; you’re also an excellent manager of people who leads by example and authority in their field and who can motivate and pull together a team to get the job done.
--You are metrics-driven; you’ll be assessed and rewarded based on your performance of driving efficiencies and cost savings across the supply chain and logistics function.
--You understand Amazon. This is not a pure Amazon logistics role but you must have practical experience with Amazon FBA and Amazon as a sales channel in order to work successfully with our Amazon team.
--You have practical experience with 3PLs such as ShipBob.


What You’ll Need
--Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
--3+ years relevant work experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role in inventory planning & management or a related field.
--2+ years managing remote teams
--Cross-functional team leadership
--KPI ownership, business planning and execution, and forecasting
--Advanced Excel and Google Suite skills
--Experience in driving improvement and optimization initiatives across a matrixed organization.
--Excellent knowledge of quantitative methods to analyze situations and solve business problems
--The ability to simultaneously deliver on various channel strategies and tactics
--Fluency with promotional dynamics in a highly competitive category
--Outstanding analytic and problem-solving abilities
--Effective written and oral communication skills
--Integrity to the highest standard, honesty with compassion, reliability in all actions

--Must have ability to collaborate effectively, work cross functionally, build relationships and excel in a team environment

* Must be able to work on US time, 40 hours/week
* Must be extremely organized and able to handle a complex and heavy workflow
* Must be able to communicate proficiently in English in writing and over the phone
* Must have reliable and fast internet connection and a relatively quiet home working environment
