Expert Video Editor & Motion Designer to Edit Youtube Videos

Hi! We're looking for an amazing video editor and motion designer to work on YouTube videos for our 2 channels.

These channels are both growing quickly (One has over 50,000 subscribers and is adding hundreds per day), so this will be a long-term work opportunity and there is a lot of room for growth.

We love working with our Filipino team members, and value our relationships with everyone we work with. We already have an excellent Filipino video editor on the team and are creating more videos so we need someone else to help.

Requirements for the position:

Applicants must have experience editing videos for YouTube specifically, and must be able to provide samples of their past work.

You must have a minimum of 2 years experience editing videos (YouTube or other types).

You must have a fast internet connection and good computer for editing. Often we'll be sending 10gb+ files, so it's important you're able to download and edit these efficiently.

We use Upgrade to see actual info, Google Drive, and Asana to manage the editing process. Experience with those is not required but it's a bonus if you do have this Upgrade to see actual infoitially you'll be editing 1-2 videos per week, each 10-30 minutes long, and also creating smaller clips for social media. This will increase over time and we would love to make it a full time position in the not too distant future.

You'll be required to take each video we send you and do things like:
- Edit out mistakes
- Add in transitions and effects
- Add in animations
- Add in motion graphics
- Add in image overlays and text
- Lower thirds & titles
- Cuts, zooms, highlights etc.
- Clean up audio if needed
- Do colour grading if needed

Please take a look at our channels above to get a sense of the style and quality I'm looking for (particularly the Andrew Hubbard channel as it has the motion graphics and more complex edits). You will need to be able to do graphics and animations in the videos like these in order to be successful in this role.

You'll be asked to complete a test project to start with (this is a paid trial), and if successful I'll send you new projects each week.
