JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a full-time Operations Assistant to provide administrative support and assist with various tasks of our Operations team.

You will be working closely with our Operations Team to assist with various tasks and ensure smooth and effective operation of a fast-growth start-up company. You must be well-organized and have a keen eye for details.

This role is very dynamic and has a lot of room for growth.

Administrative Tasks
Product Management
Customer Service
File/Data Management

SKILLS NEEDED
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word is REQUIRED
- Excellent Written and Verbal English Communication Skills is REQUIRED
- Strong Administrative Experience is REQUIRED
- High Level of Organization and Time Management is REQUIRED
- Keen Eye for Details is REQUIRED
- Excellent Problem Solving Skills is REQUIRED

ADVANTAGE & PLUS SKILLS (NOT REQUIRED)
- Proficiency and Knowledge in Managing Amazon Seller’s Account is a STRONG ADVANTAGE
- Experience and Knowledge of Freshdesk is a STRONG ADVANTAGE
- Proficiency and Knowledge with Asana is a STRONG ADVANTAGE
- Experience and Knowledge of Airtable is a PLUS
- Knowledge in culinary arts, cooking, kitchen industry is a PLUS

ABOUT THE COMPANY & ME:
I own & operate a few online e-commerce businesses. I’ve been working with Virtual Assistants for the last 3 years and all of my VA’s have been very happy to work with me. I have previously hired on all major VA platforms including - Upwork, Freelancer and Fiverr.

Our team is made of extraordinary people who thrive on solving difficult problems and building enduring products for ecommerce. Currently, our e-commerce business operates multiple DTC brands on Amazon, Shopify, Etsy and Ebay in North America. We have 11 full-time employees (including 4 from PH) with over 15 team members that are contracted for specific projects.

We are on a strong YoY growth trajectory and looking to double the team size in 2021.

We're growing fast and are seeking new team members that are curious, free-thinking, and determined to make an impact.

Part 2) Customer Service: How will you respond to the following customers?

Customer #1: Hi, my girlfriend bought me a grey knife backpack through Amazon as a gift, but I was wondering if I could exchange it for the black one instead? When I saw the backpack in person, I was starting to get a little worried as it may stain more quickly and the stains will show more on the grey than the black one, so maybe the black color would be better. I'd like to know if it would be possible to exchange for the other color and how I would do so through Amazon. Thank you.
