JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for full-time Senior Web Application Developers with 7-10+ years of professional experience in:
• PHP/Apache
• MySQL
• CodeIgniter and Laravel
• APIs (Stripe, AWS SES, Sendy, etc.)
• Payment Processors (Stripe, Upgrade to see actual info, PayPal, etc.)

Your Work Day May Include:
• Working with the product owner/manager and SQA engineers to define and understand business requirements (features, change requests, and defects).
• Independently designing and engineering solutions based on requirements.
• Completing projects by developing front-end and backend code in: HTML/CSS/JS, CodeIgniter, PHP, MySQL, and working with Payment Processors.
• Managing the Git repository, including branching, merging, rebasing, and deploying code to environments.
• Managing virtual servers (development, staging, and production) and software configurations (Apache, MYSQL) in AWS.

You Have:
• Fluent or near native written and oral English communication skills.
• 7-10+ years of professional experience, focusing on developing complex web applications in PHP (CodeIgniter, Laravel), MySQL, Apache/Linux, and Payment Processors.
• 5-10+ years of professional experience, developing cross-browser code in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including: HTML5 and responsive media queries, Bootstrap (or similar frameworks), jQuery and related libraries.

You Might Also Have:
• Experience managing Git repositories, deploying production code, and managing servers.
• Experience managing AWS servers, load balancers, and database instances.
• Minor experience developing basic mobile applications.

You Can Work:
• With a team, collaboratively and in English.
• The night shift in the Philippines, starting work in the evening (6-9 pm) and ending early morning (3-6am).
• Exclusively for us, without the need to maintain side jobs, because your compensation package is competitive and can support your needs.
• Occasionally outside of normal hours. We rarely have urgent issues but, when we do, they may require immediate assistance.

We have worked with our client over the past year to transition their staff from the USA to offshore in the Philippines.
