WE ARE LOOKING FOR A YOUTUBE VIDEO EDITOR

Hello!

We are looking for a Youtube Editor to join our editing team for our youtube channel where we travel and train jiu jitsu. 

Each episode is about 10 min long, and the compensation is $20 per vlog. we're on a weekly publishing schedule, but we have enough footage to publish twice a week if editing process goes smoothly and with minimum delays. 

We’re looking for someone

who is an expert in using Final Cut Pro as the main editing software
who can handle 3-5 iterations per episode with fast turnaround time - less than 12 hours
who has extensive experience editing vlog-style videos
who has genuine interest in jiu jitsu 
who has a good musical sense
who is familiar with youtube recommendation algorithm 
(Preferably with a background in cinema and has stellar work is a plus).

List of tasks per video

fine tuning / micro editing the rough draft after we hand over the draft
selecting background music and applying
sound engineering - noise reduction, sound effects, volume control etc
color correcting / color grading
writing / inserting subtitles
making intros and outros
