Software Engineer with Accounting Expertise

Our team has developed an e-invoicing engine (Promis.co) that enables multiple accounting platforms to send and receive e-invoices. Our clients are asking for more connections.

You enjoy self-managed working while contributing to our team process. You will work with our other engineers and accounting professionals. Our team is open to anyone who is passionate about creating something awesome. Our offices are in Noosa, Australia but most team members work from home most days.

We are flexible with the hours but prefer someone who can commit full-time.

You can
- Read and manipulate JSON and XML (including schema and xsd files)
- Find your way around data structures in accounting systems (using API documentation)
- Use unfamiliar accounting systems to create required data (e.g. contacts, invoices, credit notes, items, tax codes)
- Enjoy creating user-friendly API documentation and keeping it up to date

Not essential, but maybe you can also
- Boast of experience in Mapforce
- Create API connections (REST, SOAP, oauth) in Postman
- Develop in Nodejs with a MongoDB backend
