Technical Writer

We are looking for an experienced and versatile Technical Writer who will author, edit, and review product documentation. The role will work with internal resources to gather, write, and publish technical information for our broad audiences. The role is responsible for generating innovative ideas for content while working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. To ensure success as a Technical Writer you must demonstrate experience, creativity and passion and thrive in the fast-paced culture of a dynamic and evolving company. You have strong writing skills, the ability to synthesize technical content from an SME and create materials that clearly explain the topic/task to end users based on their persona.


Minimum Requirements

3+ years experience in technical writing of software documentation
Ability to write clear, concise and thorough documentation to an enterprise level
Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and images
Excellent writing and proofreading skills
Strong verbal communication skills
Strong working knowledge of technical writing tools
Excellent work ethic and strong intellectual curiosity
Experience in working with team members in different time zones and locations
Well versed with software development life cycles
Adaptable, able to work across diverse teams and functions across multiple cultures
Quick learner , able to develop subject matter skills
Being able to manage multiple projects at the same time


Responsibilities

Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
Determine the clearest and most logical way to present information for greatest reader comprehension
Create in-depth but easy to understand user guides, FAQs, technical overviews, and in-product help documentation
Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
Create and maintain the information architecture
Review and/or copyedit content developed by other members of the team
